SAFETY GROUPS PROMOTE STEPS TO REDUCE KIDS INJURIES
Two groups dedicated to increasing child safety, Kids and Cars and Safe Moves, are sponsoring a June event in Los Angeles to demonstrate the dangers of leaving children unattended in or around cars, especially during the hot summer months. They are also seeking signature for a petition directed at winning remedial legislation aimed at making vehicles safer for children, who in past have been severely injured by electronically-controlled windows and other child-hostile features.
