EUROPEAN RECONSTRUCTION GROUP MEETING PLANNED

The European Association for Accident Research and Analysis (EVU) has announced plans for its Annual Meeting in Dresden, October 5-7, 2006, and has issued an invitation to interested U.S. reconstruction experts and others to attend. In a letter to Dr. Steven Batzer of the Engineering Institute extending the invitation, an official of EVU said, “More than ever, this year`s EVU conference will focus on topics with practical relevance for the technical experts. The increasing part of electronic components in cars will force us to look how to draw accident relevant data from this components for accident reconstruction. Additionally, the supporting programme with the visit to Volkswagon`s Transparent Factory and the collision experiments with remote controlled vehicles, as well as the possibility to see an opera at the world famous Semper Opera House, will be an incentive to take part at the conference.” For more information go to www.evuonline.org, click on English, click on “events.”
